A troubled American newspaper journalist with a terrorist past. Brodie has frequent nightmares, can’t hold down a job and is estranged from family and friends.

ADMIRAL EAGLETON

A ruthless Director of the CIA and former commander of the US Navy Fifth Fleet. Admiral Eagleton has spent a third of his life planning an all out military assault on Iran, which Brodie is threatening to expose.

BETH HARRIS

A lonely IT consultant with a string of broken relationships who falls in love with Brodie and goes on the run with him when he’s pursued by CIA agents and assassins.

LOUISA GRAY

A kindly and redoubtable principal of a Bahrain school for the children of English speaking ex patriots.

MICHELLE PARKER

A promiscuous English primary school teacher whose extra marital affairs culminate in a series of brutal murders, which Admiral Eagleton has to cover up.

ROBERT MARGOLIS

Present day Bahrain CIA station chief, tasked by Admiral Eagleton to find and kill Brodie.

AL FOGGERTY

A cancer stricken and remorseful Deputy Director of the CIA and former Bahrain station chief. Al hatches a plan to use Brodie to stop Admiral Eagleton attacking Iran.

MELISSA EVERHART

A nurturing 8 year girl Paul Brodie befriends at school in Bahrain. Melissa leaves Bahrain suddenly in 1984 and then reappears 30 years later, inviting him to visit her, which he does.

JOHN EAGLETON

A handsome and confident former US navy helicopter pilot and front running Presidential Election candidate with a vital role in his father’s plans for Iran.

DENEB

A highly proficient, one-legged former Israeli Special Forces soldier turned contract killer. Deneb is called in by Admiral Eagleton to take Brodie out.
